About Us

The American Rehabaction Network (ARAN) is a network of  concerned citizens created to educate Congress and other policymakers and ordinary citizens about the worth, need and success of the  Public Vocational Rehabilitation Program.

The American Rehabaction Network (ARAN) is unique, for it is the ONLY network that focuses EXCLUSIVELY on those programs established and funded under the Rehabilitation Act to assist persons with disabilities to become employed and live independently.

No other organization is designed to showcase the results of the contributions of VR counselors,  rehabilitation technicians, teachers, evaluators, therapists, secretaries, adjustment specialists, trainers and the many other hard working women and men whose lives are committed to assisting persons with disabilities reach their vocational potential and independence.

Joining the American Rehabaction Network allows you to:

* become intimately aware of the status and background of legislation and policies which directly affect the Public Vocational Rehabilitation
Program;

* know who the people are in government that are supporting the Public Vocational Rehabilitation Program and which ones are not;

* take advantage of ARAN opportunities for professional development second to none as well as receiving Action ALERTS,  In the Public Interest publication, access to ARAN services and resources, and invitations to attend National conferences, forums and seminars to keep on top of your profession in order to "promote the cause."
